Ryan Wlodek is a high school administrator and educator from Elgin, Illinois. Dr. Wlodek currently serves as an Academy Principal at East High School in Rockford Public School District 205 located in Rockford, Illinois. Dr. Wlodek has a strong interest and professional background in brain-based teaching and learning strategies. He also has experience developing and implementing data-driven initiatives to lead students to social and academic success.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Wlodek held science teaching positions in private and public school settings. During this time, Dr. Wlodek led several inquiry-based interdisciplinary initiatives aimed at improving student engagement and academic achievement through relevant learning opportunities in which students learned skills necessary to be innovative, critically think, and solve complex problems.
Dr. Ryan Wlodek holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Northern Illinois University, a M.A. in Elementary Education from Roosevelt University, a M.A. in School Leadership from Concordia University Chicago, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Chicago. He holds several administrative and educational endorsements including Superintendent, Illinois Type 75 General Administrative, Illinois Type 03, Middle School General Science, Biological Sciences, and Social Sciences.
